Competition and league chess in Kidderminster.

We field six league teams and contest nine annual trophies each season. There is a level for every player from first-year beginners to county champions.

Club Championship

Flagship title. Current holder: Joseph Friar (back-to-back).

President's Cup

Annual rapidplay. Last winner: Joseph Friar, 5/5 unbeaten.

Shuttle Shield

Knockout open to any resident of Kidderminster, member or not. Last winner: Brandon Wilkes.

Graham Bunn Trophy

Most points in club matches. Last winner: Brandon Wilkes.

Minor Club Championship

For developing players. Cameron Henry, four consecutive years.

Lightning Cup

Blitz format. Fast, unforgiving, and very good fun.

Handicap Tournament

Time odds level the playing field. Open to all.

Quick-Play Tournament

Rapid time controls, sharper decisions. Last winner: Joseph Friar.
